Back in the late 2000’s, I was working on a number of arrangements for Ben Folds pieces for the Westminster Chorus. This contemporary a cappella rendition of Ben Fold Five’s “Lullabye” from their album The Unauthorized Biography of Reinhold Messner was completed around the same time, but never performed with that group. They ultimately sang and recorded “Still Fighting It.” This is arranged for TTBB chorus with a featured TTB trio. The TTBB chorus primarily acts as accompaniment to the trio of soloists. There is a lengthy “scat” section in the middle of this piece.
